Mara & Moss began when we moved to Kenya and started a small project to support local entrepreneurs. What we found was something much bigger,  incredibly talented people creating beautiful products with purpose, simply lacking access to a wider market.

At the same time, we were welcomed into a world of unforgettable experiences. Friends, guides, and local experts took us with them across savannahs and coastlines. We fell in love with the landscapes, the people, and the way life is lived closer to nature. Over time, we built a trusted network and a desire to share it.

That is how Mara & Moss grew.

Today, we connect skilled artisans across Africa with international markets, supporting them in building sustainable businesses. Together, we create thoughtful, handmade products where upcycling, reuse, and respect for nature are at the core.

Alongside this, we design bespoke safari experiences for the Scandinavian market. Journeys that are built on real relationships and lived knowledge.
